At the end of June 2026, Caburé Publishers released the short stories collection Los rayos invisibles (The Invisible Rays). For the moment the book is only available in Spanish.

Charif is currently preparing a feature film as director and is finishing a pentalogy of novels begun three decades ago, writing two books of essays, translating literature from Chinese and other languages, and working on the screenplay for another feature film based on a proposal by the legendary Swiss artist and musician Dieter Meier. In addition, he has just finished a forthcoming volume of poetry.
